I love the marketing department at this UK firm

A DVR manufacturer sure got my attention with this bit of text:

"There is no operating system, no PC, no embedded PC. All our hardware is handmade by our designers who have been working on video products for the past 20 years."

"Tecton is an independent British company. We do not have to grovel to foreign masters in Tel Aviv or the USA. We do not have to make decisions that are only designed to boost our share price on a dodgy stock market somewhere. We have never needed a bank loan and we are financed entirely out of hard work. All our buildings and equipment are paid for. We are here for the long term."
