Better lighting is more effective than CCTV

There have been numerous studies that show improvements in street lighting are more effective at deterring crime than CCTV. Here's a little more fuel for that fire.

Auto parts theft is a massive problem in big cities. Thieves take parts that are easy to get to and will sell quickly. But notice the recommendation from the poster. Nowhere does it say to install CCTV. It says park under a light and to watch out for suspicious activities.
