Snow Leopard News
Before you install Snow Leopard (OS 10.6) on your Mac, take note ... one of the "refinements" is a change in gamma. The gamma has been changed from 1.8 to 2.2. Says Apple, "the default gamma has been changed from 1.8 to 2.2 to better serve the color needs of digital content producers and consumers."
